Joyous Chinese Cultural School summer camps provide immersive Chinese cultural exploration opportunities that stimulate endless curiosity and discovery! Our camps aspire to be innovative, creative, and transformative experiences for campers of all ages and backgrounds.

3-Day Chinese Cultural Camp
$250/Camper

- Grades 1-8
Our 3-Day Chinese Cultural Camp allows campers to experience a broad sampling of China’s exciting cultural heritage! With daily language, crafts, and dance workshops, along with the opportunity to try delicious, traditional Chinese lunch foods, campers will be able to show off their language skills with a Chinese song, demonstrate their new dance moves with a traditional Chinese dance, and bring home fun Chinese crafts after just three days!
Campers will be split by age group. Lunch included!

5-Day Chinese Cultural Camp
$395/camper

Our 5-Day Chinese Cultural Camp allows campers to experience a broad sampling of China’s exciting cultural heritage! With daily language, crafts, and dance workshops, along with the opportunity to try delicious, traditional Chinese foods and visit local Chinese supermarkets, campers will be able to show off their language skills with a Chinese song, demonstrate their new dance moves with a traditional Chinese dance, and bring home fun Chinese crafts after just one week!
Campers will be split by age group. Lunch included Monday, Wednesday, and Friday!

5-Day Chinese Lion Dance Camp
$325/Camper

- Grades 6-12
Hosted at United Martial Arts Center, our 5-day Chinese Lion Dance Camp is a week-long exploration of everyone’s favorite martial arts puppetry! The martial arts of lion dancing take moments to fall in love with and a lifetime to master. Campers will build essential movement and performance skills through the week in this exciting, heart-pumping week-long intensive.
Campers will be split by experience level. Lunch not included.
5-Day Chinese Culinary Camp
$450/camper

- July 22 - July 26, 2024
- Grades 4-12 & Adults
Put those chef hats and aprons on and join us for a tasty adventure you’ll never forget! Our Chinese Culinary Camp will be split by skill level and will help immerse campers in the art of Chinese cooking, exploring the rich cultural history behind traditional dishes and styles. From mastering cooking techniques to exploring the influences of Chinese cuisine, campers will also get to visit local markets and restaurants for inspiration! Hands-on cooking classes and collaborative team challenges will culminate in a delicious lunch for all to enjoy, cooked by campers!Â
Lunch provided each day!

A Family Affair
Although our cultural camps are open to any and all curious campers, they often bring in many adoptive families from all over the country to take advantage of our adoption-minded cultural celebration opportunities! To make this a family affair, we have special hotel rates and family get-togethers scheduled to help our camp families to stay connected while they’re visiting!
Group Hotel
For families looking for a convenient hotel to stay at during our camps, Wingate by Wyndham Greenwood Village/Denver Tech has set aside 20 rooms for us at a discounted rate of $149/night. Both single king and double queen room options are available on a first-come-first-serve basis!
